Paste your YouTube URL and let AI do the rest
How it works
- Paste the YouTube URL — or type xyz in front of any YouTube address.
- Choose a difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate or Expert.
- Take the quiz in the browser, or copy the questions into your own materials.
The three difficulty levels
- Beginner
- Fewer questions, aimed at recall of what was stated directly. Good for a first pass or a younger class.
- Intermediate
- The default. Balances recall with questions that require having followed the argument.
- Expert
- More questions, and answers that require connecting points made at different moments in the video.
Frequently asked questions
Is the quiz generator free?
Yes. You can generate quizzes without creating an account, subject to a per-visitor daily limit and a maximum video length. Signing up raises both.
How many questions do I get?
It scales with the length of the video and the difficulty you pick — longer videos and higher difficulties produce more questions, within a fixed range.
Can I generate more than one quiz for the same video?
Yes. Each difficulty level is generated and stored separately, so you can produce a Beginner and an Expert set from the same video, and in different languages.
Are the questions taken from the video only?
Yes. Questions are written from the transcript, and the prompt forbids referring to the source material itself, so you never get a question like 'what did the speaker say at 4:20'.
Can I use these quizzes with my students?
Yes. The output is plain text you can paste into your own worksheets, an LMS, or a quiz tool.
